The So-Called "Feminization" of the Church
In the same way that white Americans for many years denied African-Americans access to the same support systems it handed out to white people, and then blamed black poverty on a lack of motivation, the "feminization of the church" movement looks at the result of the historical marginalization of women from full engagement in life and meaningful work, their segregation into household and spiritual pursuits, and then blames women for the failures of an essentially male-led church.
